September 22, 2025, The Ohio Division of Industrial Compliance launched a new online Customer Portal for Backflow!
Now all your information regarding Backflow Certification resides at the OHID website.
That means your certificate and access to your files will all be located there.
For us to submit your documentation, you will need to set this up prior to the class.

Your OHID must use the same email address you provided to the Division of Industrial Compliance on the original Portal.
A PIN may be requested the first time you log into the new portal. For assistance on your email or for a pin number, please contact:

The Dept has stated the following benefits of the new Industrial Compliance Web Portal:
- Paperless Convenience: Manage all applications, payments, permits, certificates, licenses, and documents online.
- 24/7 Access: Apply, access documents, request to schedule inspections, and pay fees anytime!
- Enhanced Security: Use OHID for secure access.
We will be working with everyone at the at the Re-Certification Class to make certain that you are comfortable in accessing the new website and requirements.
With this class we can administer 4 hours of CEU credits toward your plumbing license for OCILB. In that case, we will need your plumbing license number as well.
